oh, geez, so much good stuff here i'm not sure where to start... first, i'll take that orange car... next, what is popping out of that tree? a mushroom? bagel? now let's talk about that little plastic face screaming for help - he obviously wants to get out of the road, so did you help him? and the fountain? my kids love those... i hate 'em... and the last picture - good to see people just living life...

great london tour today :)

My cousin and his wife used to own an orange car (a BMW if I recall just like this when they lived in North Acton a few years ago. they moved back to South Africa and sold it to friends, I wonder if this is it!? Lovely photos :)

aimee: it's a weird mushroom growing out of a tree on my road :)

anna betts: it is a BMW and it's been parked around my road for a few days now. it could well be your cousin's ex car! wow!!!

sara: yes you must see them on a sunny day, in the south bank, sooo nice!

That is so weird! I remember my cousin's wife driving me in it to an amazing plum orchard somewhere in Kent to do a photo shoot. I was doing work experience with her as a photographer's assistant, good times :) Such a small world!

A photographic ode to London -- I like it!

(Makes me realise, too, that I would have no idea how to draw with words or image one of Melbourne, one of where I call home.)

Dear Thereza,

Every time I come here, I'm treated to such an explosion of color and shapes. The shopping spree pieces you did were amazing. I could look at it for hours. And your photographs are absolutely splendid. You capture more with your camera than I could see with my naked eye.

I wanted to also thank you for leaving such a kind and warm message for me earlier this summer. Your words brought me comfort and strength when I needed it most. Thank you for your friendship.

xoxo
