i love going to camden, it always feels like a mini holiday and today was even more surreal... my friend Niki won a couple of itunes tickets to see A HA, yes, a ha (thus the 80's vibe going on since last night) and so i went with her... we had a few bevvies before the gig, weren't allowed to get in straight away as we got there 'late' and the place was already packed... but with my nice but feisty brazilian side, we got in eventually and did get to hear 'take on meeeee, ta ke on me... ' oh the 80's, this love x despise thing... i never liked a ha, to be honest, but tonight made it a great 80's adventure, just as i thought it would be :)

Thank you thank you thank you for getting us in :-) I got home at 3.15am. I was drinking shots with strangers on the train and they were listening to a-ha on my ipod singing along until Surbiton. LOL.
I went to Camden only once and loved it too! Thanks for the memories of this place and of the 80s. And thank you for the link to the postcard print place!

niki: what a night! worth the hangover i suffered at work on saturday hehehe thanks for that!
sometimes those bands we didn't like in the old days take on a new form of endearment when we don't have to hear them ad nauseam for about 25 years! i'm definitely this way about a lot of 80s bands. sounds like a fab time!!
Camden is nice...only on a weekday. too touristy for me and I only live around the corner (kentish town actually...)
