ace friends, ace gifts

we all know what's like when life decides to throw some rubbish patches our way. i've had more than a fair share of those this year so far... on the other hand, isn't it wonderful to know we're not alone? that we have ace friends? that someone, who sometimes hasn't even met you in person, will go out of their way to send you a nice message, a gift or anything that will cheer you up?

the other week, Hilary surprised me and Diego with one of her beautiful mountain cushions. and boy, do we love it?! *sigh...
Lesley sent me a wee nutella emergency package + this ace Nobrow book. what can i say?!
Emmeline also sent me this sweet autumn drawing...

wow i'm often overwhelmed and feel so lucky to have you guys around... i can't thank you all enough for the presence, support and, of course, the beautiful gifts! x

holiday snapshots

holiday involved a lot of relaxing time, meeting new cats, birds and fish friends, chilled beer drinking, lots of extra nutella for breakfast and volcanoes walking... we had an ace time and i'm now ready to get back to work. also got to get ready for the new adventure... my MA starts first week in october. exciting eh?! soon going shopping for a new pencil case and a rucksack... + already have work to deliver in that week! eep

++ oh speaking of work, let's not forget to mention :: my work's been featured on the wonderful Grain Edit = ace return surprise... quite stoked to see it there :)

...as from tomorrow i'll be diving in a lovely spanish island chasing the catfish. ciao friends!
