what i wore today

well, it was yesterday :) i've been meaning to do a little drawing like this for a while. it's for Gemma's fun project 'what i wore today'.
today so far, i'm still wearing track suit bottoms + t-shirt + flip-flops and getting on with some boring admin work. off to the gym later on to kick start the weekend with lots of good energy. happy weekend friends!

day off's going great so far. had a little sleep in, slow breakfast and have finally framed my beautiful birdies print, a present from super talented friend Neil, aka Crayonfire. also very much enjoying Tomboy, another snailmail gift from Eleni :) it's a wonderful little zine. i love it. surrounded by beauty... how can i not be happy? thanks so much guys!

hands, head & feet + good news

been using these a lot this week :) it's been an unbelievably hectic one, but having met and delivered two deadlines + dealt with quite a bit of stress in the process, i might just take a day off tomorrow and have an extended weekend.
after all there's some celebration to be had around here: i have been offered a place to do a masters - MA illustration at Kingston University and am both scared by the prospectus of returning to student life as well as coping with freelance work and very excited too! i love new journeys and adventures, so back to school it'll be in september :)

Catman at wrap party

had a great time with my friend Mel at The Book Club in east London last night. it was Wrap magazine's issue 2 launch party and my Catman is making a special appearance in it. the magazine is ace and i absolutely love its unique concept. yes, you can actually wrap presents with its spreads! how cool is that?!
it was lovely to meet Polly and Chris (the brains behind it) and also nice to see Gemma's work, which is also featured in this issue.

artcards signing at YCN

yesterday i went to YCN, the ace agency i'm represented by, to sign a little pile of hello cards. they will be sent to existing and potential clients. and really nicely printed cards they are! very happy with how mine turned out. while i was there, i thought i'd do a wee tour of the place to show here as the space is ever so inspiring :)
the sun is still shining in London and i'm off to the gym in a bit for a killer workout, then hopefully finish off a fun job i'm working on.

a tiny shelf

here's a wee shelf i designed and a woody friend from my local craft market made it for me! thanks Clive, you did a great job and i'm really happy with it. will be asking him to make me a larger one to go with it :) what do you reckon?
in the meantime Diego and Flash just cuddle up together and sleep zzzzzzzzz that's what i call a good life...
