in love with my new duck-scissors *sigh

had an ace time with my super talented friend Lesley at the V&A last night. she had an illustration being scrrenprinted in one of the exhibition's workshop along with Abby, both beautiful images inspired by Yohji Yamamoto's dresses. great as ever to catch up with Lesley and really lovely to meet Abby and Rachel in person. after the event we went for that necessary friday drink and laughed and had so much fun. Lesley took home my big head bow as a promise she will be back in London real soon to bring it back... all in all a cracking start for the weekend :) happy times!

you know when you keep an eye out for something for so long you almost believe you'll never find it? this was the case with my new vintage wood briefcase portfolio! i finally found the perfect one, just as i'd pictured in my mind... it was in Camden Lock market :) so i'm still organizing stuff in it, etc. what do you think?

i know it's been a little quiet around here... well, my beautiful friend Cecilia was over from Brazil for a week and since we hadn't seen each other in quite a long time, a week off to catch up just had to happen for me too :) we had so much fun around London. went to Camden Town, Battersea carboot sale, inspiring east london, drank lots of good wine in the garden amongst other places.

i spent this sunny saturday afternoon playing with more dresses, but one in particular (first photo) which is for my good friend Lesley. she also needs a hat as it's for her brother's wedding! so much fun. it'll be in the post tomorrow Lesley :)
every year around this time, a little group of characters appear on my bedroom window, wake me up and invite me to play :)
