more work in progress

some more crops from the development of this ... still not happy with the whole thing so am spending the afternoon working on it. it's getting darker and it's hard to find motivation, particularly in the mornings. booo to the dark months :(

a happy book

this is a little friend i took on holiday with me ::: Simon's coloring book! i had in in my bag at all times along with some felt pens so whenever i was sitting by the pool and on the beach i sure had fun with it. such a big kid, i know :)

++ want this skirt so badly... the other half said when i reach my target of losing half a stone he'll buy it for me. i'm working on it...

it came to help out tidying up the workspace today but gave up on my endless black hole in the end...

Sardinia :: part two

some more photos of beautiful Sardinia to cheer up our monday morning. the white donkeys we saw in Asinara were so lovely and tame, you could even stroke them!
so now it's back to work mode and i'm feeling ready and recharged to make a good start. i hope your week is a radiant one too :)

sardinia :: part one

and so it was the perfect holiday... Sardinia is just breathtakingly inspiring. for the very first time i didn't feel homesick towards the end of our stay, which is rather unusual for me, i must say.

the break was totally analogue (i.e. no internet or work thoughts etc.) and it involved lots of relaxation, good food, excellent wine, ace coffee, delicious ice cream, giant nutellas, wonderful sun and moonsets (yes, moonsets!) and it was also great to meet some gorgeous sardinian people and practice my italian :) on my next post i'll show some white donkeys... yes, real ones i saw there!

a few crops of a new piece i'm working on and a very grumpy me is off to the doctors in a bit... last thing i need is a nasty course of antibiotics just days away from going on holiday. oh well, sometimes life just sucks. i'll pop round here again when i feel a little more positive...

a week full of goodness

it's been such a great week and here's some of the goodness involved ::: the ace Ammo Magazine + my Ammo artist profile page, nice stuff i collected from the play exhibition + wonderful gifts from Lesley and snail mail present from Gemma including my favorite kitty tote. i'm overwhelmed by so much lovely things. thank you all so much!
i'm a bit tired now after a saturday at work but ready for a cocktail and a relaxing evening. whatever your plans are for this weekend, i wish you the nicest one :)

inkygoodness play exhibition

had a brilliant time at the Inkygoodness vs Ammo show this evening. it was really nice to finally meet 'snow white' Lesley, Jennie and Joe (aka Colourbox) + catch up with Simon and Dave + meet Mrs Ammo, etc... all in all a great night! the show is on for a week so if you live or are around London this weekend do get yourself there as there's so much eye candy to enjoy! it was also the launch of Ammo Magazine issue 4 and it's ace! available for purchase as from tomorrow so go grab yourself a copy first thing in the morning... i'll show you a few sneak peeks of it tomorrow. so happy to see my play o'clock illu on one of its beautiful pages :) ok, it's really late now, so... laters lovelies!
