just a quick post to show some gems i got on the post: original drawings, a badge and other little goodies from Blanca Helga, my favorite girl from Madrid. thank you Blanca, i love everything!!! :) then i received a gorgeous postcard with a great doodle from Simon Wild all the way from Iceland. happy me! also got a fab drawing from Matt Williams (aka Uberkraaft), but won't show it yet as it's supposed to be a collaboration so you'll see the whole thing once i've added my hand to it. slowly getting back to work, a backlog of stuff to do awaits me... oh dear, i'm just thinking of that mantra as i type: 'keep calm and carry on...'

it's been a hellish beginning this week, doing very little work. sometimes all we need is a break. back soon... see ya!

happy garlands

i'm making tiny garlands because the whole process of cutting and arranging elements makes me so happy :) i might include one of them for each 'tiny neighbourhood' book i'm producing... what do you think? have yourself a fab weekend!

working on my new mini book/zine, lots of cutting to do, and enjoying my new moo cards :) the tiny book and other little surprise goodies will be in my shop soon. the sun is shining and i've got to take a break now to go to the post office and maybe do some thrifting on my way back. what are you up to today?

bussssy

the weather's been appalling around here and just as well as i'm up to my eyeballs with good work to finish off, so not missing so much being out there. the other day a very nice book reading club from the US visited my shop and purchased every single bookmark i had listed. thanks guys! well, that meant i had to produce some more, different ones this time :) they're now up in the shop. wishing us all a productive tuesday!

a spotty dotty valentines for me

ok, i had already done a valentines post as my head had convinced me it was friday. such a space cadet, i know i am... anyway, here's my present from the other half. it made my day, totally. being a sucker for dots, this book is incredibly clever and its use of colour and shape is just perfect. probably the best valentines (material) present i ever got :) lots of brownie points ♥♥♥♥♥ for him, and of course a happyhappy me! happy valentines day to you again! ♥

A is for Amore

hello peeps! i'm still in the middle of the mess over here, the noise's gone but it's still quite dusty with the whole kitchen ceiling coming down to be replaced... sometimes i wish i could just go back to Southampton where i still have my own studio, which is being used just as storage at the moment...

on other news, above is a new illu entitled Amore. a limited edition of only 15 prints, available right now in my shop. i'll soon be listing a couple of new Tiny Red dream houses as the 4 i put up there sold out.

dusty tuesday

trying to work but there's a man in the kitchen fixing the ceiling and it's very dusty and noisy around here... well, the sun is shining on and off so the light is great for taking photos, but really i should be working! hope you're having a less disturbed tuesday :)

Ana's home

today we went to Southampton, (my hometown in England) for the day to meet my friend Ana's newborn baby. he's beautiful and has got the cutest tiny hands i've ever seen :) i love her house, there's so much colour and lots to explore. back in London now and it's freezing. mini holiday is over and i'll be back to work tomorrow :::::::::

++ yesterday i had great fun making a cat's gallery. see it here :)

strange...

last night i dreamt about lots of doors... then on my way back from work today i spotted these... how strange. i find dreaming to be one of the most surreal experiences in the world, one that us humans tend to take for granted, yet isn't it fascinating? i dream a lot... do you dream much?
anyway, let's all have a strangely beautiful weekend :)
