today i went to the publishers club meet up in east London and it was so lovely to put a name to a face to many of the illustrators and publishers i often interact with, both here and through twitter. even Mr. Pickles came along with his lovely proud parents Ms Gemma Correll and Mr Anthony Zinonos :) and boy, not only this gorgeous pug is probably the most famous little dog around the illustration community but was he the star of the day? yes, he certainly was!it was really nice to catch up with Tigz, June and finally meet Gemma, Dave from Ammo magazine, Lisa from inkygoodness and Bec from Blanket Magazine, to name a few. i also took a little blank moleskine with me for the guys to doodle on and say hello, great fun! all in all, a fab afternoon with ace talented people.
