a surprise packed weekend

so another happy year goes by and the other half decided to organize a surprise trip for our wedding anniversary... i almost died of curiosity in the last couple of weeks but he didn't breath a word until we got there
i love Wales as it is, but this place we went to is just delightfully surreal.... the colours, the architecture, the history of it... it felt like stepping into wonderland. i did take my red shoes with me though, which matched the place perfectly :)
/ the second and third photo is where we stayed/ the place is also famous for the cult 60's tv series The Prisoner, do watch an episode if you get a chance.
anyway, we had a very special and wonderful time. i came back with the most precious eternity ring, 364 photos and beautiful memories of such a magical place... thank you my love and best friend.
hope your weekend was a good one too :)

That looks like a really intruiging place. Happy Anniversary. I was thinking it would be fun to do a post where several bloggers all illustrated the most interesting status update(either flickr or FB) for the same day.
What do you think? Would you be interested?

And so romantic too - to organise it & manage to keep it secret - & to top it all an eternity ring - lucky you!!

As I looked at the photos, I was wondering if that was the place where the Prisoner was filmed. Enjoy!
