the horse and the seed /// edited

i've wanted to further edit this book for a while and decided to try blurb for print but as a first experience with the service, i have to say, i am quite disappointed... though the colour is fine, the bleed is all over the place... not impressed at all, so have contacted them and we'll see what they're going to do to redress the problem. have you tried blurb.com before and if so what was your experience with them?
i've also published the full version on issuu. click here for full view. you should be able to read the story too :) have a nice week everyone!

mixing

up early to go to work this morning and it's been the most beautiful summer day! i even refused to face the tube in this heat so got on the bus instead and had fun snapping away from the window :) also got myself some new acrylics and am in love with this little lot. mixing colour is so therapeutic, isn't it?!
note to all // i got a few e mails about the pictures on this post as some of you, especially PC users were unable to view or they looked weird. i think i sorted the problem now. please let me know if they look ok from your browser. have a fab weekend! mine's just starting :)

sunny day

the sun is back and so is my hay fever... i must have sneezed over a thousand times today : ( but, god knows how, it's been a productive day. thank you so much for your great feedback on my last post, i really appreciate! the deer drawing is for a little project that is almost ready and i'll show you soon. Mr. Raton has a best friend now and they are having a ball together. hope you're having a nice thursday too :::::: laters!

in progress...

lots of work to get on with, such a mess, most drawings so far are sort of incomplete. i'm going to exhibit mostly originals so it's kind of hard to decide when a drawing is finished... i'll just have to keep spreading them out every other day to see how they interact. i guess relying on intuition might the best route here. and your feedback is important too!

busy bee

but having a little play in between. the wooden animals are one of my 'lost and found' items. happy, happy when i came across them this morning :) the bumble bee was sharing a little buzzy moan with me outside earlier... the sun is gone, it's a bit dark around here now... well, well, happy week!

meet El Justiciero

hello, hello! so that's what i've been working on lately... producing and preparing for my solo show. it's going to happen at the beginning of august on Brick Lane- east end - London. will let you know the details nearer to the time so if you're in London perhaps you could come to the opening :) the theme i chose - El Justiciero - was inspired by this track by 'Os Mutantes' and i'm having so much fun with it!!! and if you like El Justiciero, wait until you meet his Juanita Banana :) hehehehe now i shall carry on drawing some more and enjoy a much deserved glass of wine. have a fab weekend!
