what makes a good saturday

a good day at work, then back home to enjoy the sunshine in the garden with a snail mail surprise parcel all the way from israel from super talented flickr friend jenny, { - jenny, i loooove my bottle of happiness!!! THANK YOU! }, rejects on my wall, bits of sketch and inspiration pieces on magnet board, my alexandra's favorite superhero enamel tile against the sunshine invading my home and a pretty bug by the glass bit of my front door :) ufffff... almost too much inspiration for one day... just been watching britain's got talent final and have voted for this little adorable greek duo, ohhh they're surreally hilarious!!! hope you're having a fun weekend too :)

out and about

been out watching and gathering colour and shape inspiration for my current project. going slow but i'm not in a hurry yet... it's just so nice to have a bit more time to explore things whilst enjoying the process without a tight deadline hanging over the head ::::: wishing us all a lovely thursday :)

going slow

brainless, more like...the week is flying and i have not gone through even half of my rather long- after degree-to do list :0 oh well, slow is ok sometimes, i suppose... long live coffee and pink milk!

happy monday off

bank holiday with a nice sleep in, the sun is shining and i'm still overdosing on caffeine and having fun drawing...moving half the contents of my desk to the garden now :) hope you're having a happy monday too!

what makes a good monday

sunshine on and off filling my messy home with light, new moo mini and business cards i ordered last week, going through some old sketches and finally making a good start on my next project. will post about it soon :) have a lovely week!

studying flowers

getting inspired for my next project and alan fletcher's books always do the trick for me. i'm excited, already! he must've been my father in some other life :) this one is called picturing and poeting... last picture +++ wedding anniversary flowers from my other half, happy me!
