polaroid love | part one

so polaroid has decided to discontinue their line of 600 film, which is what my camera takes... very sad indeed.
even worse, i've been saving a few packs of film i bought in London (probably the very last few) only to realize today that they're about to expire. so i've been snapping away...
those were taken in my sunny garden this afternoon. over the next few weeks i'll be showing you all my shots and god knows what it'll feel like to snap the very last one. i only have 30 left...

nothing gives off that great 70s tinge like a good polaroid! now the question is... how will you spend your remaining bits of gold?

sigh
and they are getting so popular again
do you think they noticed?
how do you upload the polaroids to your blog, may i ask?

I thought there was a company in Holland that were going to continue to make Polaroid film? I'm sure I've read about this somewhere....

peter: thanks,i should google it but as far as i know this is it for polaroid. hope you're right though!

aimee: will be taking it out more often :) we'll have to wait and see.

lady P: well, they're ademant they won't be manufacturing any more film...
as for the 'uploading' question: scanning the pictures... don't think there's any other way of doing it :)

Hi Thereza, there is indeed people around the world trying to produce instant film. You can learn more at these addresses

As for shooting with expired films, I don't think it matters very much. The colors might be off, but that can be cool. I love accidents in photography.

Speaking of colors, your photos are gorgeous!

This should be an interesting series of posts! I like the trivia you chose to take pictures of... life consists of little things...
