what a beautiful day it has been in london! cold, but the blue sky was there and lots of red visuals to keep me entertained :) i still have quite a bit to do before monday but will be taking it easy as weekends are there for that very purpose... there'll be play and relaxation, that's the plan. are you doing anything interesting this halloween? 
the first verse of macavity - a poem by T. S. Elliot. i just adore cats, the musical so chose this to work on as there's lots of room for play. this is just my first attempt so there will be lots of changes to come but i'm happy with the journey so far... enjoy the clip of the song here.

is it friday already?? oh my... so here i am 'kind of' stuck indoors playing on ideas for my next assessment. having a lot of fun though! i love playful afternoons. still work but... fun too. my jaw is still locked but i could just about manage a couple of oreos with my coffee :) back to playing now.
oh i love this city! even when it's gray and windy. shooting these was the perfect stress buster for me today... any other recipes? i'm going to need quite a few over the coming weeks. my jaw is currently locked and i can't eat properly. won't even bother going to the doctors as i know what it is... hope you're having better times :)

after an ultra busy day what better surprise than coming home to find this in my letterbox?!! all the way from the usa from the super talented Steve Loya. the front cover of the zine seems to have been uniquely handrawn and it's actually my favorite drawing: awww the bambis little deers! oh my god, i cannot contain my excitement at the moment!!!! the drawings inside are so detailed and beautifully composed. and i also got a much wanted calligraphy pen (how on earth did he guess that?), a gorgeous polaroid and a 'guardian' card. ohhh gotta go now and enjoy it more little page by little page.
been having the laziest day and sketching in bed :) not the best place to do it thus some of it looking awful! hope you're having a nice weekend.
